No. She's being trashed by a faction of the Republican Party.
Fair or not, these anonymous leaks and attacks are designed to either scapegoat her for the election loss, or to make sure she threatens no GOP hopefuls with her new-found popularity. Her own party does not want her as a rising star, and I think she made a lot of enemies in her own campaign.
Doesn't change my point. As far as the Democrats go, the last few months are more than enough to prove my point in that area.
Two asides:
--I have no more regard for Fox News than I have for MSNBC, and have been on the record on that since Katrina.
--There are more kinds of fundamentalism than the religious kind.
