The fact that things didn't turn out so well for you forces you to blame others because you can't face the alternatives: either your own incompetence or the malignancy of your philosophy. Who are you blaming this time, liberals; French industrialists, Greenwich Village bohemians? You can't pin this one on the Bolsheviks or the Jews.

You are a helpless pawn of historical and cultural forces you don't even recognize, much less understand: a wannabe member of a dying class that has grown lazy with power and bungled things so badly that not only have they dragged the society they fed on down with them, but have squandered the very resources everyone depends on for nourishment. You're an evolutionary dead end, a parasite who fancied himself a predator; who has gorged on his host and now has condemned it as well as himself to starvation. Or am I overestimating your importance in the great scheme of things?

No one here hates you, what's the point? You're an anachronism, a throwback, you personally no longer pose a threat to anyone. You are reduced to coming to an internet bulletin board to huddle with the few of your doomed species that remain and croak your tired old formulas. But whether you realize it or not, you do play an important role now: you serve to remind us that your spores remain scattered throughout the body politic, ready to infect the culture again when conditions are ripe.
