I'm not the one claiming to be a benign fellow full of "sea stories" who is dragged unwillingly into political confrontation by bastards like myself.
Like I said, I left the board for a time, and the result was not an outbreak of political tolerance and harmony. The result was a mass of liberal/leftist rhetoric from end to end. I think others would back me on this.
If there was any seeming lack of conflict, it was the lack of conflict you find in any forum where only one point of view gets aired and opposition is almost nil. There are plenty of boards like that, on both ends of the political spectrum.
Don't blame me for the political toxicity around here.
