Garver wants to dump the Ares1 and use Delta IV and Atlas V

Griffin firmly believes the Atlas and Delta are unsafe for people. Who's right?

Seems like it would be cost effective to modify existing launch vehicles. They certainly must be safer than the Shuttle. What's the current progress of the stick?
