I also agree that this "fundamental substance" (call it "fs" for now) makes up everything that exists in the universe.
You call this "fs" energy.
I call the same "sf" protomass.
The word "energy" conjures up the ability to do work and work is something that needs movement of some type or another, "protomass" on the other hand does not necessarily need to move in order to exist.
