Government needs to get out of the way and let nature take its course. Capitalism is Darwinian evolution in action. The lumbering, unintelligent companies overextended themselves and are falling prey to their own shortsightedness. The smaller, more intelligent companies will thrive in the vacuum and become the new masters of the land...and then the cycle will repeat.
This is wealth redistribution at its most basic and natural level. The bloated carcasses from the dead giants will be chewed up and recycled by the many smaller companies that buy up the auctioned off assets. This is how Capitalism takes care of too much wealth being concentrated in too few places.
