is that without the alarm and the very vocal "loony" left publicly bringing up the worst case scenario, the neo-con leaders may have felt more empowered to actually carry out some of the possibilities.
So to throw this back in your face, if you see a possible danger from an Obama administration, something you view as extremely threatening to the very existence of our country but low enough on the probability scale that it's in that gray area where you might be labeled reactionary or a conspiracy theorist, I assume from your post that you won't mention it at all. You'll just shut up and assume that everything will just be hunky dory and reason will prevail.
There's a difference between being concerned about a remote possibility that carries dire consequences and actually drastically altering your life in preparation for it. I was certainly aware that, had all the fears been fully realized, our country would have probably devolved into a civil war and yet I still don't own a weapon.
With your attitude Tom, why ever buy insurance? Why teach your children not to talk to strangers? If you look at the charts and play the odds, you'll probably never need to worry about those things. The players around you will act rationally 70, 80, maybe even 90% of the time so why worry? Just be happy.
