Do you not see the seriousness of all of this Tom? Do the 10's of thousands of people being laid off their jobs daily not give you a fucking clue?
There is no time now for this blind partisan dissent that obviously is all for political gain. The bill contains major concessions to the Republicans already. Hell, there's tax cuts galore. Just because they're not aimed at the wealthy it's at least a compromise. The Democrats could have left all of that out on this bill.
Shall we compare the amount of hours Bush spent in his entire term of office engaged with congressional leaders of the opposite party with the amount Obama's already spent in his first week?
You haven't a fucking leg to stand on in this case. This was clearly a partisan attempt at political gotcha at a time when the situation required absolute cooperation.
I truly wished the Republican Party would see the light and remake itself to something just right of center where it resided for more of my lifetime but they've decided this is their Alamo. I never thought I'd be cheering for more cannons but I'm rapidly approaching the point where I don't care anymore. You're all fucking idiots. Go away before you embarrass yourselves even more.
