The Democrats aren't asking for handouts for needy Americans. They're asking for programs where those folks are required to put in their own sweat and time for assistance. It's about jobs pure and simple. Infrastructure projects (and our country sorely needs them to stay competitive) aren't just a giveaway. Real things get built, things like new energy transmission grids, roads, bridges, things that give assistance to the industries you keep telling us are the backbone of our economy.
Those things will not happen on their own and millions will end up out of work without some sort of government intervention. Your side doesn't want any of it? What's the plan coming from your leaders? More tax cuts for big business and the wealthy. That's it. Nothing else. Just more of the same shit that hasn't worked a lick and has us on the brink of depression.
Our country prospers when it's building shit not when it plays banker and conman to the world.
