The Mexican drug trade is expanding into the Southwest. The illegals and their descendants are quickly expanding their auto theft and drug activities. Parents bring drugs across from Mexico and their kids sell them to the local high school students, setting up shop like some ice cream truck.
The police - sadly - are often bought off. Others are understandably fearful in dealing with the whole matter. If you are going to go after the hydra, you have to deliver it a mortal wound or it keeps regenerating. The police ar in no position to do that here and our large cities police departments are ALL compromised. When the body of the hydra is across the border and only many of its necks extend into our nation, our police forces are powerless to deliver the coup de grace.
About the only thing that could do that is to execute illegal drug users here. Once there is little or no demand, the supply will mean nothing. And it is wishful thinking to think legalizing narcotics will end the drug trade - there will always be new and stronger drugs created and marketed for a price.
Some people are drawn to illegal activity. If weed, meth and cocaine is legal they will find something that isn't so they can "rebel" against the establishment. And the violent drug addicted masses will destroy whats left of our infrastructure and GDP.
Violence and destruction will be a new form of "release" for these folks. The local drug dealers are taking over the abandoned/foreclosed homes and letting their customers "trash" them all over the nation right now. Drug adiction and violence are forever wedded.
