I had to listen for years to liberals bitching about the enormous amounts of money kept out of the clutches of the Almighty State by Bush's tax relief. Numbers issued by furious liberal think tanks ranged as high as two trillion dollars.
The tax cuts Obama just laid out amount to about $198 billion, including $70 billion in AMT relief and only about $5 billion for anything related to business. And of course, these tax cuts will crap out at the end of next year.
