I need to carefully point out here that the contrasting philosophies we're talking about did not just appear in the last eight years.

We are not "trying something new to see if it works."

Obama's ideas are not at all new, and have been tried before. In terms of economics, he is dead-ass wrong. It doesn't take genius to figure this out, just historical observation and common sense.
