The point is that the current President was dead wrong on the issue. Had the Democrats been able to marshall sufficient votes to override Bush in 2007 Iraq would be burning today.
And now he's running things.
It will take time to show that he's dead wrong on economics, too. But hey, I'm supposed to be supporting him as he runs the bus off an overpass!
How long before this stops being the "Bush recession?" Did you look at that chart I posted before? It's already stopped being the "Bush deficit."
