And just think, all those short half-life radioisotopes that do not exist in nature because the universe is too old and because they are not produced in main sequence G stars, will contribute lines to the solar spectrum that will be detectable across interstellar distances to alien astronomers, alerting them to the fact that a primitive technological species inhabits this system.
