You cannot prove or disprove a political or philosophical position with facts, any more than you can a religion with facts.

Then that's pretty much it then, isn't? Once reason and facts are divorced from philosophy and government, it's all up to the loudest voices or the biggest mob. And that's how it usually winds up, too.
