I think a lot of the objections to nuclear power will evaporate.
Right now it's easy to object and put up roadblocks because there is no direct economic cost. However, when nuclear power can be demonstrated to cost significantly less the public will demand it.
At that point Nevada will be loaded down with the waste and no one will give a rip.
Ways to transport the waste will miraculously appear.
And why should the Feds pay for it?
