I know what the fears are and most here are feeling it. The winds of change are not easy, thus the fears.
Again, I have to rely on the laws of our great country and depend on them to keep us safe and free. The downturn in our economy has brought fear in the hearts of many Americans and I can't help but think of Reagan (I know, he was one of those 'mean' Republicans), but what he said was true in that Americans will endure during hard times and come off as victors if they can just apply their energies into being entrepeneurs. I know tax increases including the Death Tax are popular among Democrats, but there can be a middle ground to it all. Myself, I'm not a fan of the Death Tax because families accross the board, be it middle class or of those that own farm land are Re-Taxed when a family member dies. Sorry, the government did not pay for the funeral arangements, so why should the family pay undue taxes, etc.
No, I don't want to see our farmers, ranchers, et. al., become bankrupt to the point that our government will takeover their lands. That would be the end of our Democracy., etc., etc.,.
To be honest with you, I wish our young people would text with actual words. I doubt some even know how to spell to write a coherent sentence. Where's the law in that one? A bigger Blackberry, maybe? ;)
FWIW
--- Sorry, I'm just blowing off a bit o'steam.
