I agree with the original thesis, that the abused grow up to be abusers.
However, there isn't the proper care for counselling and follow-up and most commit acts of rape or violence again. Society is crumbling as we speak. I don't see how we can clean it up unless a lot of professionals start volunteering their time.
Our society has become so money-oriented that more and more are falling through the cracks.
