You do know that the Sun is now HOTTER than it used to be, so the Sun's activity has NOT declined.

If you want to refer to the T-Tauri phase of early solar activity, then do so explicitly and acknowledge the difficulties that this early "starburst" phae was largely BEFORE the planets finished forming.
