The Fed is printing it or (if you prefer) borrowing it from China, just llike the Republicans did during the Bush administration. Unfortunately, that pile already disappeared. Maybe this time it will at least do somebody some good. You see, the purpose of the stimulus is not to give the illusion of prosperity, it is to stave off collapse.
I'm sorry, TB, but your outraged protestations don't carry that much weight any more. Perhaps if you had been a bit more critical of the "Bush prosperity" and all those ersatz jobs he produced we might be taking you a bit more seriously now.
