The cop had a duty to control the situation.
I have challenged authority in my life but in appropriate ways. I would not challenge the authority of a police officer doing his job. You say, "Yes sir" and go on your way.
If you think that you and others have the right to refuse to accede to a reasonable request from a police officer doing his job, then you think you're above the law and you are very mistaken.
You may not have stopped to think about it, but these men (and women) put themselves in harm's way for the safety of you and me. And for damned little pay.
And then some bitch comes along and thinks she's too damn good to get a speeding ticket? I don't think so.
And yeah, it pisses me off.
