He didn't taze her because he felt like it. He warned her and she still persisted. You know, cops are human beings but they are officers of the law and deserve our respect, the same way that soldiers who put their lives on the line for us deserve our respect. Jeez, Mary Anne, you and the rest of you are siding with a mean old lady who disrepected the law that we all depend on to keep us safe in our homes and businesses. If someone were hassling you where you work and a cop intervened and then backed off because the person was being combative, what would you think? He says, "Oh well, we'll just pick the person up later. Put up with the hassle."
You're just not logical and you're feeling sorry for someone who had a choice every step of the way and CHOSE to confront the officer.
