Healthcare is not your everyday commodity and should not be treated as such. Again, I advocate the end result being a two tiered system. Private coverage for whoever wants it and public coverage for the rest. Much like the k-12 school system. Every child in America is gifted a high school education by society. There are still plenty of private schools though.
Certainly this result is not good news for the big insurance companies. They will fight reform and they may win.
