And your job is government employee, not corporate employee.
So, how's your county working out for corruption, monetary abuses, and disregard of the community? They running out of money now? Of course, that would be because property taxes aren't high enough, not because they're paying bus drivers $90,000 a year and increased the budget far more than the rate of inflation every year.
They doing what my government is doing? Keeping the fat cats and special interests awash in cash while they cut parks and services to the poor, close the municipal pools and libraries, and fire some non-union employees?
If corporations are about profit, governments are about power, and the abuses of the latter throughout history utterly dwarf the abuses of the former.
