Familiarity Breeds Cottempt?
This is a real potential issue. It is also an issue that numerous groupd have overcome so it should not be treated as a show stopper. We know it has been overcome so study the successes, failures and devise a means of duplicating the successes with a backup supply of psychiatric drugs if that fails. It boggles my mind that people can claim this is a show stopping barrier when people have over come this issue in teh past with far less tools than available to the modern world to mentally escape close quarters and stay connected with the outside world (E-mail, DVDs, electronic games, virtual reality, books on tape, in progress research etc).
NASA then: 1) Set a goal 2) Identify the Barriers 3 ) Knock em down
NASA now: 1) Identify barriers 2) Makes excuses 3) Randomly tackle barriers (or possibly tackle barriers that benefit influential members of Congress)
