I read your example and believe that I obtained the “gist” of the process.
But now the problem arises that if I try to apply my understanding of what the concept is; then I may still make an error and therefore embarrass myself.
If you would apply the “dimensional analysis” to Einstein’s formula of E=mc^2, then perhaps I could understand the method of “dimensional analysis” strongly enough that I could apply it to my formula and be confident enough about it so that it would not embarrass me anymore.
