No. I'm not ranting, I'm merely letting you know that when you step in to defend and back up your bible-banging compatriots we mark it well.
The Religious Right is to your side what the Anarchists and Weathermen are to ours, but you do not reject them or distance yourself from them. You cover for them and make excuses. You do it every time, Tom. And you do it because you know you need them. Without their support your side is nothing., it reduces to a tax policy favorable to businessmen.

And don't you dare twist my words, I stated my case perfectly clearly in my response to Jody. To believe a supreme being created the universe is one thing, and a perfect reasonable (although not the only) response when faced with the glory of creation. To believe Genesis must be taught in the public schools is not the same thing, it's not what I said, it's not what Jimmy Carter said, it's what they said. Yes, they are evil and they are troglodytes.
