Go ahead. Bring down The Man, snap the spines of the capitalists, make them pay for the crime of doing better than you do. See what kind of "job" you end up with in a few years. The rich guys took a bath in the crash. How's the unemployment rate?
This country is powered by surplus wealth. Every government program in existence is paid for by money above and beyond some person's actual basic needs. You can carry a phone in your pocket, or watch a flat-screen TV, because somebody with a shitload of money once paid huge prices for them when the technology was new. If you're driving an electric car in ten years, it will be because someone will pay six figures for the cars coming out now.
If I were someone with a middle class or lower income, I would much, much rather live in a nation where a lot of my fellow citizens had more money than me, than one where nobody did. Think about it.
I swear to God the Left has not updated their mental software since 1930.
