ACORN is a leftist thug squad whose primary job is delivering street-level political support to a single political party. The Democrats will defend them to their last breath.
This judicial ploy will eventually be struck down by someone who knows a lot more about the Constitution, but in the meantime, the goal is to have ACORN drift out of the spotlight, keep collecting its millions, and keep its role as Democratic shock troops.
Oh, and a small clue for those who haven't been keeping up: the people who hacked those e-mails aren't "right wingers."
