ironically, tb, you have once again proven yourself impervious to irony.
at the risk of ruining a joke by having to explain it, i was actually having a little fun here trying to play on our last encounter. i'm giving robert's moderation a hard time, satirizing academic jargon, goofing on pop psychology and sunday-supplement science, turning my last few posts upside down, poking fun at my own politics and savaging yours, and trying to lighten up the mood with a little humour. you totally missed it, didn't you?
if you don't think i'm funny, well, i can live with that. maybe i'm not, it's not for me to say. but that you can't even see i'm trying leaves me baffled, and believe it or not, feeling a little sad for you.
your response is, considering, hysterical, and you don't realize that or why it should be so. so serious, so direct, so politically precise, so automatic. and you delivered it with a such a straight, gloomy, serious face, you are indeed impenetrable, unreachable, isolated. lighten up, man, before its too late. life is too short to waste, regardless of who's in charge.
you know, sdai would have picked up on my post and riffed on it outrageously. crazy as he was, he was at least entertaining.
