That Deepwater Horizon well was sitting on the second largest oil shelf in the world, and they had gone directly into the motherload. Apparently there is another large seepage a few miles away that is filling the bottom of the ocean with thick oil.
The whole shelf could rupture as the pressure of the sea water bears down on it.
Already there is a huge no fly zone AND they (BP operatives) are now spraying the bays and bayous under the cover of darkness, to keep the oil down.
Considering that Corexit is carcinogenic, that Obama told them to stop using it, and now on top of this they are spraying it in populated areas, I think it's a criminal act.
BP will find a way to bail out of this and claim sovereignity or somesuch, and spread their losses to other subsidized companies. Otherwise the world markets will start to tank. (Oh, wait a minute, they already are.)
