Tom seems to be trying so hard to push his own line he's not paying attention to what you're writing. About all that's getting through is that you're not entirely in agreement with him, and that's raising his blood pressure a bit.

I get the sense that you have something sinister in mind. You've mentioned "manipulations", cited real estate agents "inflating" house prices, and just now you're claiming that the present recession began in the Clinton years.

You're working toward a conspiracy theory, aren't you? Are you really going to claim that Bill Clinton deliberately engineered the Great Recession? Boy, won't that frost Al Gore's butt, eh? But still, I guess the worldwide socialist conspiracy figured throwing Big Al under the bus was a small price to pay for...whatever a major recession during the Presidency after Clinton's would accomplish to further the goals of the conspiracy.
