I wonder if I accidentally changed my registry. I barely got into the CCleaner and didn't know what to choose and so quit before I'd done hardly anything. If I did change it, is there any way to restore it?

I tried your suggestion and I don't have an option that says "always use." However, I went to properties and changed it there to Word from Word Pad and it seems to have changed all the other documents, too. Whew. So that problem is taken care of.

Last night I ran McAfee Quick Clean and the Defrag and my videos seem to be running smoothly this morning. My computer is almost 3 years old but I've got 4 mg RAM and Super Fast Roadrunner so there was no reason for the videos to suddenly do that. However, that seems to be fixed too, so I just need to Quick Clean and Defrag every so often.

If my videos do that again, how do I check my download speed? If it's not up to snuff, I'll holler at Time Warner because I'm supposed to have super hot fast speed and if I'm not getting what I pay for, I'll let them know.
