I'm seeing an old lady holding her hand up to her face. That's pretty much it. Maybe she didn't like being photographed. A hearing aid of the type described had an earplug, and was not something that had to be held to the face. Most kids who had hearing aids with boxes when I was a kid hung the boxes on their shirts or put them in a shirt pocket.
Obviously, a real Iphone would not be very useful in 1925 unless you were playing solitaire on it. A real time traveller might have some kind of communication device to talk to other time travelers, but I suspect they'd be a little more subtle about it in public.
You would never spot the real time travelers. Or disguised aliens. They're way too careful.
