This is good, as these trends will likely continue several years into the future:

There have been some big games going on in the commodities over the last several years, not all of it legal or ethical. And the game might be unravelling. The silver market especially has been cornered by short sellers for a very long time, and if this price keeps going up, they might lose their shorts. Which could turn weird. Last week, the CTFC, after years of investigation, admitted there was manipulation of this market. (EDIT: Wall Street Journal article on silver manipulation. Lawsuits have been filed. The mint has stopped selling most gold and silver coins for the year (second year in a row) due to their inability to keep up with demand.
Been watching cotton prices go up too. Copper. Iron.
There will be corrections of course, but helecopter Ben is going to ensure that these curves, in the long run, maintain at least the same slope by chucking bags of money out the window. Still waiting for the exponential spike...
Inflation is a monetary event, price inflation comes later. Ben plays a dangerous game here.
