Our old pastor, before he retired, would start shedding tears at the drop of a hat during an emotional point in a service or anywhere else. Carried a big handkerchief. He said his dad, also a pastor, was the same way. Nobody told him to "gut it up." Some people are that way, some people aren't. I am, although not as bad as my pastor. My daughter made a bit of fun at me for dripping tears while I was trying to take a picture of my son marching along in his graduation outfit, but she really thinks it's kind of neat. So did my son.
Nobody's really kidding anyone here. If Boehner was a Democrat, the cackling hens of "The View" would be lauding his "sensitivity."
