"Leeway" given by who, Eri? Obama had a huge Democratic majority in the House and Senate, and most of the television media completely in the tank for him. He was greased into office, with a huge popularity rating. Obama got a hell of a lot more slack than Bush got after the 2000 election. And Bush handled the crap a lot better than Obama is. Got re-elected, too.

Every occur to you that maybe he's just a screwup? That he's inexperienced and has no idea what he's doing? That his Marxist ideas are diametrically wrong from what this country really needs?

We just had an election, Eri. The same people voted in 2010 that voted in 2008. All the conservative talk radio hosts and Fox News were around in 2008, saying all the same things. If, as the demented Left would have you believe, it's all the fault of gadflys like that, why didn't it work then? Or in 2006?

The election was a direct response of the people to actions taken by the leadership of the past two years. The Democrats would rather lose an arm than have Americans understand this.
