First of all, most Americans don't have the option of "voluntary participation" in government provided healthcare like Schock does, THANKS TO THE GOP.
But my point was HIS argument (READ IT) for accepting government healthcare, while wanting to repeal healthcare for everyone else, is that his young age helps bring down the overall cost for the older congressmen. Well, mandates for younger people are what brings the overall costs down for ALL Americans.
This is not to say I support mandates. It's a stupid GOP idea Obama proposed in a futile attempt to try and get GOP votes. It does nothing to change the delivery system. I support single payer or at least a public option. I'm just pointing out the double talk coming from these assholes.
