I do appreciate what you did there, but I refuse to believe, nay, THINK, that there are people we should jsut give up on. I don't care if it's because i'm "young", "inexperienced", and "actually have a heart".
I think what mostly pissed me off was the way you ended that post. I've never liked the idea of letting people just "slip through". Granted, some most of what I said was out of line, but still - what kind of world is this where we just let people fall? What I hate the most is how people let themselves and others fall into that state. Surely he had friends to console him for his loss? Family to try to catch him from falling? How'd they let him GET to that point!? That grandma.... if the Kansas stereotype fits her, then that's just f*cking harsh. If she KNEW about her grandson's predicament (And I highly supsect she did), and STILL let her own blood go down the drains, then Soylent Green that bitch! We should prevent this stuff from happening in the first place, not just letting them drop dead like a crow out of the sky.
TB said reality is fucking cold. I say it's only that way because we are. It doesn't have to be like that.
