At the U. of M., the Real Computer Geeks used punch cards, brought into the Sanctum Sanctorium and presented to the high priests. Later, they would come back and pick their result printouts up from a large wall of cubbyholes.
Me, I was just a computer goof-off. I used teletype terminals and saved my programs on big rolls of yellow paper punch tape. I still have some of these. Simple Basic programs, AASCI pictures of Playboy models, and the ever-popular Star Trek games.
