Re: Is this what she is on about?

Yeah, the airheads out there scream about the "gap" all the time, as though there's a Money Pie, and if the executives are making a big load, somehow this is being "taken away" from somebody else. What the graph doesn't show is that there are many, many times more lower level workers than executives. Top 1 percent means 1 percent. When you chop up Rich Uncle Pennybags, there really isn't that much to spread around to a hundred people. I pointed out to Eri how little this CEO income actually adds up to, and as I expected, she simply erased it from her hard drive. She doesn't know why I'm wrong, I just have to be.

And yes, the rich pay most of the taxes. Go onto that graph you posted, and point out the location of the only government surplus we've seen in years. The airheads credit the Great Clinton with the surplus, when the fact is it's because at the time a hell of a lot of people were making and moving a hell of a lot of money, and paying taxes on it every time it moved from one place to another.

The premise behind every article on "income gaps" is the same: This money does not belong to those wealthy executives. This money rightfully belongs to the Pee-pull, and we should get to take it away from them and spend it on things we choose. You know, the moral self-justification of every thug who ever held up a bank.

So go ahead all you liberals out there. Set maximum salaries and compensation. Burn off that top ten percent. See what happens to revenues. When the socialists have eaten the rich, you're next on the menu.

Every damn government program you think is so essential is mostly paid for by those yacht-owning bastards and their corporations.
