Re: I carry my own load.

I meant, as should have been obvious from the context, "carrying the load" of government expenditures. Obviously, a vast majority of people in the lower income brackets support themselves honorably, but without people making a hell of a lot more money than they needed, the civilization they're in wouldn't exist.

How much does it cost to build a dry cleaning shop? A McDonalds? Where does the capital come from that banks loan to make those things possible?

"Working man?" You still haven't told me how much money a person can earn before they aren't "working" anymore.

Of course, the term is actually a well-known Marxist fog word, designed to create a vague impression in your mind that serves their purposes. The guy turning the wrench is "good." The guy investing in a new coffee shop is "bad." The engineer at the computer is "good," unless he creates something that makes him wealthy. Then he's "bad." That guy turning the wrench had better not come up with some cool new product either.

The vagueness of the term allows the Marxist to legitimize systems that loot anyone that falls outside their constantly-changing definitions of the term. Kind of like their definition of "middle class," whose income range seems to move around with the barometric pressure.

You're too smart for this crap, Eri. Stop using it.
