Re: Re: Nuclear reactors
Iodine a placebo, huh?
Well what about buying up bottled water?
Shhhh. I could start a rush on supermarkets.
Now everyone on the West Coast, from San Diego
to Anchorage, will be scooping them up off the shelves or refilling their bottles.
Keep a gieger-counter handy too?
Well-built, heavy-water nuke plants are OK in my books; so are solar and wind power plants.
Put it this way: if there were a solar-power network, coast-to-coast, when the sun sets in California, they can still get two hours' worth of solar-power from Florida; and when it rises in Florida, California can get 2 hours worth of solar power before the Golden State's own solar energy plants go on line.
