Our nation is over $14 Trillion in debt, and every year those in Congress are spending more than $1 Trillion more than they take in. If this goes on for much longer, our economy will collapse and all that has been built over the past few centuries will be undone.
The people doing this are all highly educated indiviuals who graduated from some of the best schools in the world. Are we to believe that they don't know what they're doing? Are we to believe that they are ignorant or blind to the outcome of their actions? How can this be from such intelligent people?
The alternative is that they do know what they are doing, and that they do know the outcome of their actions. If this is true, then it means that they are purposely moving this country to ruin. Why? For what reason are they doing this? What do they hope to accomplish?
Treason is defined as a crime that covers some of the more serious acts of betrayal of one's nation. Would this word not fit if the later is true?
