They didn't participate in the big fiasco and so have come through it well. I checked their default specs compared to the Big Boys and they looked really good. Not that they didn't have some foreclosures. Hell, with the joblessness, that was bound to happen but they're small, they're good and I wouldn't change.
As for my mortgage, mine has been sold so many times, I got dizzy. It's now with Chase (whom I do NOT like). When it was sold to Chase, I was told I could get disability so that if I became disabled, my mortgage would be paid off. Well, guess what? Chase didn't have that available in Missouri. That's been about 5 years ago. SOB's. My life would be so much easier now if I had been able to get that. I became disabled last year and had to quit work (retire early).
