Hi E, Phil...
Darn, I leave you two alone for a minute and suddenly the world is nutballs and were taking potshot fun at humans again.
Remember your holocaust post Phil? How can humanity be so unkind to their neighbors?
All these folks are people...they have mothers who love them and relatives who care for them and several probably have spouses and children who love them dearly.
Granted I disagree with A LOT of things I see posted or on websites...but I try to keep civil with everyone - regardless of their beliefs, education-level, obsessions, pipe-dreams or what-have-you.
In political correct terms I guess it would be called 'tolerance'.
I don't mean to get on your cases - I know it is good fun - and even I have satired folks such as Plumer - remember him?
However, I think satire and name calling are distant cousins - satire being the good natured one.
I know my presence here is a thorn to some - as my views are outside mainstream thought in many ways as well.
So I may be just another nutball of a different color.
I just thought I would try to help keep things in perspective.
Way back when...when I was still in jr. high, I helped tutor a class of 'development disabled' kids for a year.
I heard many of the mean names they were called, as the class awaited entry into its room, by other students passing by:
spaz
retardo
dork
mental-case
Jerry-kid
etc..
Yes there is a WIDE range to human intellect - both in children and adults - yet each and every person must remain worthy of our basic respect and human dignity.
Diminishing any other eventually and truly diminishes our own humanity.
Ok. Sermon over ;-)
The proselytizing white robed little voice on your shoulders,
