I was a little puzzled about this myself. Unless I am missing some in-joke, this seems to me to be a rather mild and humorous retort similar to many "coffee" comments I have made.
And believe me, Dan, we know what a thankless job it is riding herd on a troop of rabid baboons like us! ;)
