I am personally tired of it all. I have far better things to do than privately debate whether someone is trying to incite a board-war. There is a lot of gray area, and very little gray matter involved in such inflammatory posts, and I will be policing the site as I have outlined above.

The policy has always been:
Rather than replying to incites, the people attacked should notify the board moderator to have personal attacks removed (please include URL in your email).

This has not been happening, and I do not, nor do I try to, read all posts

If it is to be left to me to decide, then decide I shall. This may even include very well thought out replies that include personal attack on the board member, getting canned. If a post is suddenly absent, the presenter should see if it was “magically” referred to the Flames board. If it was not, the presenter should try to recall what was stated in the post and rewrite it in such a way as to remain on-topic and nonflammable. Failing this, email me and we’ll investigate the whys wherefores and therefores involved.

No one will be immune.

The Flames board was presented for a purpose. I would like to see this purpose remain at the Flames board, so we can continue our unabashed, and un-bashed, conversations with a modicum of peace.
