The never-ending battle is between Western cultures and values and non-Western cultures and values. It is misleading and unnecessarily provocative to refer to the former as "white" or "European" values. Third World non-white people who come to Western countries and adopt Western individualist values are as successful as native whites, often more so. Many non-white capitalist nations, particularly in Asia, are highly successful. Conversely, largely white nations who adopt non-Western, collectivist values are equally unsuccessful. Compare Hong Kong with East Germany for example.
