With one important proviso
I had cable for years, then moved to the boonies where the only possible TV reception of any kind was with a satellite subscription (Mountains coupled ith distance blocked all 'free' broadcast wavelengths).
The problem? The one time you most need the Weather Channel, when the Big Bad Storm (blizzard in my case; hurricane in yours, Marcia) is headed your way, the signal is blocked by the cloud layer!
